Enjoy this family favorite slow cooker recipes for tasty and delicious BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 6-8 hours
Makes: 12 sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 pork shoulder roast
1 bottle BBQ Sauce
4-6 ounces beef broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
seasonings and/or herbs and spices
Preparation:
Heat olive oil in a frying pan.
Season your meat with seasonings of choice. In a frying pan, sear both sides of pork roast.
Add to your cooled slow cooker / crock pot, beef broth and 1/2 bottle of BBQ sauce, mixing well together.
Next add your pork roast to the broth and BBQ sauce mixture. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
When done, using a fork, pull the roast apart and shred into small pieces. Toss your shredded pork with fresh BBQ sauce and serve on toasted hamburger buns.
