When was the last time you enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich that taste like this?
Probably never since the grilled cheese recipe that follows is considered non-traditional. Whenever I'm in the mood for grilled cheese and have a little extra time I like to go all out and use the recipe below.
Along with this recipe I usually prepare some homemade soup. Homemade tomato soup is my favorite by I have been known to serve grill cheese along side a bowl of broccoli or potato soup.
Better yet on a few occasions I have served grilled cheese with bowls of homemade chili. All said, you can forget about soup and chili and just serve your family cheese sandwiches from the grill.
Recipe Ingredients:
Cooking Directions:

1. Place six pieces of bread on cookie sheet. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over each slice. Top each peice of bread with another slice. Blend melted butter and garlic together and brush over the tops of each sandwich.
2. Sprinkle tops with Parmesan and oregano or parsley. Broil until golden and flip and repeat brushing and cheese sprinkling process. Broil until golden brown.
I like serving my grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup. Give it a try you just might like it too. But if you have a taste for something different we have recipes for potato soup, vegetable soup, french onion soup, cabbage and chicken soup, and many more. Or maybe you just prefer to eat grilled cheese and nothing else?
