The way I cook liver by: Anonymous
To cook liver, I season with salt and pepper. Then pan fry with a little oil. 3 minutes on each side. Remove liver from pan, add onions and chopped jalapeno peppers and cut up tomatoes. Cook for about 5 minutes, then place liver back into pan and let simmer for another 5 minutes.

Cooking liver by: Matt
I agree with Jewells method. I'd also like to add that the cooking time should be about 4-5 minutes per side for well done on medium heat. Personally I go 3 min per side because I like medium rare liver.

How I Cook Beek Liver by: Jamara Newell
I saw your question and thought I'd provide you an answer. This is how I cook my beef liver.
I season it with some onion power, garlic powder and seasoned salt. Then I coat it with some seasoned flour and fry it. If I'm in the mood for gravy I pour out most of the frying oil, throw some onions in the little oil that I have left. Then I soften the flour letting it cook for 4-5 minutes until it is brown and add water and stir.
