"Corn, green peppers and onions are fried with bacon for an exciting side dish that goes well with your favorite meat!"
Ingredients:
1 pound bacon, chopped 1 onion, chopped 2 medium green bell peppers, chopped 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown, but still soft. Stir in onion and green bell peppers, and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
2. Reduce heat to low. Stir corn into skillet, and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Do not drain grease from bacon - that is the secret to the flavor.

Fried corn by: crudup
I scrape the corn from the cob with a knife. Scrape well so that you get some of the milk from the cob. I then heat about 1-2 tablespoons of oil, any oil will do (i prefer to use bacon grease).
Next, add corn kernels to hot grease, cook for about a minute on medium heat. Then add some milk or water, whichever you prefer to to corn mixture (depends on how much you are cooking) enough to get the consistency that you prefer, some people like theirs thick, some like theirs soupy.
Let this cook awhile on medium-low heat. I, add a small amount of flour/sugar mixture. Flour is to thicken. Sugar to sweeten. Mix flour and sugar into to the corn well so that there are not any lumps.
The corn will then thicken as it cools. Add salt, pepper and more butter if you desire, then stir well.
ENJOY!!!!!!
It may take you a few times to cook it to get your perfect result. There are many ways to cook corn, I find this one a favorite with my family.
