2 pounds fresh green beans 1 onion, diced 1-1/2 teaspoons salt 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup minced green onions (use some green tops) 1 small can chopped green chilies 4 large cloves garlic
Cut beans into 2-inch lengths. Boil beans and diced onions until tender. Drain. Peel garlic and mash with salt. Add oil, vinegar, green onions and chilies. Pour over beans while hot. Toss gently.
