If you prepare by mixing all the ingredients for a peach cobbler and leave it on the counter to set without baking it, would this be fine for the overall result? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I baked a cake mixed with peaches, cream cheese and butter in it....do I need to refrigerate it once it has cooled?....

You can store in refrigerator or leave out covered with foil. This depends on what part of the country/your climate. If you live in a cooler less humid climate it can be left out. My mom did it all the time. Put a little foil over it and it was fine. Just like a pie or a cake. It would go bad after a week. It never lasted that long tho However if you live in hotter humid climates then frig it.
