Is there a way to use self-rising flour when the recipe calls for all-purpose?
The recipe to be prepared is to be banana bread. It calls for 2 cups all purpose flour, and of course some salt and some baking SODA. We have self-rising flour on hand, and KNOW that it has "the salt and baking POWDER" already mixed in, but what we need to know is this...does this flour simply offer no usefulness, when all-purpose is called for? Thanks!
