Well I've tried the coupon way, most of what they put on coupons is brand names and even with coupons I can't afford that.
What I do is I buy very little meat, but when I do, I buy the cheaper cuts and they are fine if you have them cubed or cook them slow and that makes them more tender.
Oh hamburger, now that I will spend the extra money and get leaner (no less than 80/20) the reason is, when you buy cheap ground meat, you loose so much of it in the grease. Try it some time if you don't believe it.
