my turkey wings by: valerie ford
I like to take the large turkey wings and let the meat cutter cut them in half. Then line my baking pan with foil, wash them, place them in pan on foil then season with salt, pepper, fresh parsley and a little minced garlic, 1 onion chopped, half of bell pepper green, and half red pepper. Close foil and let cook for about 45 minutes then add half of cup of chicken or turkey stock. Leave foil open bake for 15 more minutes. I serve over brown rice ....DELICIOUS

How to cook Turkey Wings or Legs by: Anonymous
I like to cook turkey wings in a crockpot. Cut 1 large onion in large pieces and place in bottom of pot (you can add carrots and a stalk of celery, too).
Then lay the turkey wings on top, add enough water to almost cover the wings, add my seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, poultry seasoning or any other seasonings you like), cover and let cook all day on low.
Just before serving add cornstarch or slurry (flour and water) to thicken gravy and serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
