Pigs Feet Side Dishes

What side dishes goes well with pig feet? Rice? Salad? Potato salad? Cornbread? What goes well?

It is my opinion that nothing pairs quite as well with a delicious plate of pig feet as the right side dish. From classic Southern sides like collard greens and mashed potatoes to some more unexpected flavors, there are plenty of options for you and your dinner guests to enjoy.

If you're looking for something truly unique, try serving up some fried okra. This popular Southern vegetable adds a great crunch to the table and pairs perfectly with pork. You can also go with a classic Southern staple like macaroni and cheese – rich and creamy, it's sure to be a hit!

Or why not try something new like cornbread? It's light yet flavorful, making it the ideal accompaniment for pork dishes. Finally, consider simmering up a pot of black-eyed peas. These flavorful beans go wonderfully with most any meal and have been part of soul food tradition for centuries.

No matter what sides you choose, they'll be delicious when served alongside succulent pig feet – so don't be afraid to get creative in the kitchen!

In the past, I've served my favorite side dishes alongside my pigs feet. Sides like macaroni and cheese, collard greens and cornbread.

Like you mentioned up above, potato salad also sounds good to me.

Here is the recipe I use for pigs feet, both barbecued and boiled along with recipes for my favorite side dishes.

Personally, I would just go with plain white rice. The pigs' feet will provide plenty of flavor.

Coupled with a nice greek salad of cucumbers, feta cheese, red onions, olive oil, and Bam !! You got yourself a Meal :)

enjoy :)
